Spotlight: Rob

Rob is our new operations director - check out his Spotlight!

1. What does your job involve?

Day to day running of the office, including overseeing the Sales, Marketing, Recruitment, Software Development and Support functions, liaising with clients and prospective clients, alongside all the the usual Business Management tasks.

2. How did you come about working for IGS? 

Had been looking to work in a role that would be exciting, dynamic, technical, and also challenging. This role at IGS provides all that and more. 

3. What do you do for fun outside work? 

I am a keen keep fit sort of guy, with a daily exercise regime.  HIIT sessions, road/MTB cycling, rowing machine, road running and mud runs are just some of the things I enjoy doing.

4. What is your favourite part of your job role? 

Requirements discovery for new business opportunity and providing solutions.

5. What is your favourite month of the year and why? 

March. Spring being around the corner, and Birthday month.

6. What is the number 1 played song on your iPod at the moment? 

Awolnation, Sail.

 

7. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? 

Maitias.

8. If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would you meet? 

Albert Einstein would have been an incredibly interesting person to meet.

9. What did you want to be when you were growing up? 

Full time sports person.

10. If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 items would you take with you? 

Paracord, Knife and Flint
